CENTRAL CITY – Jewell “Lynn” Tucker, 68, of Central City, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 6:05 a.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born August 29, 1955 in Muhlenberg County. He was a member of Woodson Baptist Church, a Retired Maintenance Tech at KU. He was a devoted husband, son, father, and grandfather and was a hardworking handy-man throughout his entire life. He loved to draw and paint, and learn everything about old Model cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his tractor, and cruising in his convertible Ford Mustang. He was preceded in death by his father, Jewell F. Tucker.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Teresa Tucker; mother, Glena Tucker; son, Joe (Sam) Tucker; daughter, Jennifer (Gregory) Shepherd; sisters, Gina Tucker, and Susie Sisk; grandchildren, Kaylee (Dylan) Adcock, Chase Edwards, Jaylin Edwards, Adrienne Tucker, Matthan Tucker, and Corley Tucker; and great-grandchildren, Josie Adcock, and Laken Adcock.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 1PM. p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Terry Chaney officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
