MIDLAND – Jeffrey Keith Kinkade, 62, of Midland, died Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born October 17, 1958 in Muhlenberg County to James Courtland and Rosalie Welborn Kinkade. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Jeff was a life-long resident of the Midland Community, a dedicated employee of the Muhlenberg County Road Department, he knew every backroad in the county and most of the people that lived on them. He always had a smile and a helping hand for anyone who needed one. When not on his favorite road grader, Jeff could be found with his brother and best friend Roger working with their dad, or, with his sisters and mother talking on the front porch. In recent years he spent most of his spare time working on old trucks with his grandchildren and line dancing. He never missed an opportunity to stop and look at new hot wheels at the store; he began collecting them as a child and never stopped. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Kinkade; and an infant son, Jeffrey Scott Kinkade.
Survivors include his father, James Courtland Kinkade; daughters Amy (Marcus) Miller of Sacramento, Jodie (Clifton “Cliff”) King of Nelson Creek, and Stephanie Kinkade (Peyton Garrett) of Midland; grandchildren Ethan and Grace Miller, Emerson and Alex King, and Skylar, Evan, and Gunner Brasher; brothers Roger (Jennifer) Kinkade and Tommy (Norma) Kinkade; sisters Linda Gay (David) Horne, Kimberly (Billy) Logsdon, and Carol Kinkade; and many nieces and nephews.
