GILBERTSVILLE – Janie May Anderson Nelson, 79, of Gilbertsville, died Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. Born September 12, 1942, in Gary, Indiana. She was a homemaker and member of Twin Lakes Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Loraine Anderson; sister, Edith Montgomery; brother, Eddy Anderson; and husband, Dewey “Turk” Nelson.
Survivors include her son, Randy Crawford of Benton; brother, Mark (Kelly) Anderson of Bonaqua, Tenn.; loved one and special friend, Bobby Johnson of Gilbertsville; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Jeremy Short officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
