POWDERLY – Janice Darlene Wells Maddox, 54, of Powderly, died Monday, July 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at University of Louisville Hospital. Born September 27, 1967, in Muhlenberg County, she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Wells; mother, Lillie Parsons; sons, Brian Knight and Mitchell Knight; and brother, Robert A. Wells.
Survivors include her husband, Byron Maddox; daughter, Whitney Whitaker; sister, Rita (Danny) Vaughn; brother, Steve Wells; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Larry Shadowen officiating. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery.
