CENTRAL CITY – Diane Varney, 62, of Central City, died Saturday, December 11, 2021, at her residence. Born April 25, 1959, in Detroit, Mich. She was a team leader at Burger King in Central City. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Varney; step-father Arthur Payton; sister Debbie Grimes; and brothers Ralph Varney and Jeff Varney.
Survivors include her son, Ricky Beckman; daughter Jenny Ann Shemwell; three grandchildren; father Harold Varney; sisters Cindy Beckman, Shelia Perez, and Patricia Varney.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 13, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Visitation will be Monday after 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
