Deborah Kay DeArmond

GREENVILLE – Deborah Kay DeArmond, 72, of Greenville, died Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Maple Health and Rehab.  Born August 2, 1949.  She retired from Central City Library, where she was branch manager, and she was a member of Bards Hill General Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Steve DeArmond; grandson Ethan Gordon; brother-in-law Rev. Tony McCall; and parents John Ray and Bessie Lear.

Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie (Jeff) Gordon; son Jonathan (Danyele) DeArmond; grandchildren Paige DeArmond Johnson, Jonathan Slaton DeArmond, Kimberly Gordon, Hayes DeArmond, and Lexi DeArmond; great-grandchildren Abel Harlan, Stevie Jo Harlan, and Arlen Johnson; brother Danny (Janice) Lear; and sister Donna McCall.

Graveside funeral services will be Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at East Union Cemetery.  Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
