WASHINGTON, MO – Brenda Kay Koffman died peacefully Monday, February 13, 2023, at the age of 79 surrounded by family and friends in Washington, Mo. Born March 20, 1943, in Paradise, Kentucky, she went to school at Drakesboro High School. Brenda was a contract manager for Laidlaw Transit Inc. in Washington, Mo., retiring in 2010. She loved to cook and travel with family and friends, especially to the beach. Brenda also loved shopping sprees with her sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Catherine Tabb; a son, Anthony W. Buchanan; brothers, James “Ronnie” Tabb and Mike Tabb; and brother-in-law, Archie Bruce.
Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Barringhaus; grandchildren, Jack and Drew Barringhaus, McKenna Sommers, and Morgan Smith; and sister, Sandra S. Bruce.
Memorial services will be Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at New Paradise Baptist Church in Greenville, with Bro. Tim Adcock officiating. Visitation will be Saturday after 11:00 a.m. at the church.
