BREMEN – Betty “Sue” Hope Jones, 68, of Bremen, died Thursday, November 18, 2021, at her home. Born July 29, 1953, in Greenville. She was manager of The Pantry in Bremen and Calhoun, and was a member of Maple Grove General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Hope; sisters Wanda Sturgil and Jenny Jenkins; son Millard “Lee” Johnson; and great-grandson Jonathan Campbell.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Jones; children Jerri Ann Griffin, Danny Jones, and Terry Jones; seven grandchildren; brothers Jerry Hope and Dean Hope; sister Sandy Aders; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 21, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Jerry Francis officiating, assisted by Bro. Curtis McGehee.
