CENTRAL CITY – Anna Elizabeth Rhoades, 86, of Apache Junction, Ariz., formerly of Central City, died Monday, March 11, 2024, at her residence in Apache Junction. Born October 29, 1937, in Central City. She was a cashier at K-Mart, and a member of Richardson Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Rhoades.
Survivors include her sons, Garnett Wayne (Cheryl Ann) Rhoades of Merrillville, Ind., David Lynn (Sandy) Rhoades of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Jim Houston (Cheryl Lynn) Rhoades of Lafayette, Ind.; grandchildren, Cassandra Eicherly, David Rhoades, Jacob Rhoades, Kayla Ogden, Zachery Rhoades, Chenoa Bauer, Katie Evans, and Michael Rhoades; great-grandchildren, David Taylor Rhoades, Madelynn Eicherly, Mason Eicherly, Linken Evans, Kendalyn Evans, Kenbree Evans, Christian Ogden and Kinley Ogden; and sisters, Shirley (Jim) Morris of Central City and Patty (Halbert) Edwards of Central City.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
