OSAGE BEACH – Dona Sumner, 95, of Osage Beach, Mo., died peacefully of Alzheimer’s disease on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 8:20 a.m. at her home. Born September 6, 1926, in Muhlenberg County, she was an assembler at the Motorola Factory, and a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Sumner; parents, Edward and Julie Carver; stepmother, Mae Carver; sisters, Ruby Goff, Gracie Noffsinger, Juanita Hayes, and Mable Carver; and brothers, Clifford Carver and Jewel Bracken.
Survivors include her children, Betty Hall, Delano Sumner, and Toni Sumner; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Jeromey Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
