John Richard Fesler, 74, of Beechmont, died Monday May 2, 2022 at Maple Manor Health and Rehab in Greenville. Born October 14, 1947 in Madison, Tenn. to the late Rev. Robert James Fesler and Viola Christine Johnson Fesler, he was preceded in death by his wife Peggy “Judy” Fesler and brother Wayne David Fesler. Graduating high school in 1965 from Lebanon, Tenn., John served our country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged to return home to enter a career in sales.
Survivors include his companion Faith Slaughter; sons, John Douglas Fesler (Trina) of Washington D. C. and Scott Richard Fesler (Melissa) of
Knoxville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Elliott Mason Fesler, Kathryn Gayle Fesler and Terilyn Nikol Fesler; brothers, Rev. James Terry Fesler and (Linda) of Lebanon, Tenn. and Robert Daniel Fesler (Karen) of Cookeville, Tenn.
Graveside services will be Friday May 6, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at the Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville. Visitation will be Friday May 6, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the T. W. Crow and Son Funeral Home in Scottsville, Ky.
