Roy Lee Mahan, son of the late Roy Mahan and Dula Victoria Mahan of Beech Creek, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at Long Lane, Mo. Born September 22, 1942 at Beech Creek. He attended Hughes-Kirk school. He lost his mother in a car wreck when he was 18 months old, his father and older sisters raised him.
Survivors include four children, Micheal of Tunas, Mo., Jimmy of Valpareis, Ind., Julie Joyce of Chicago, Ill. and Kellie Pomeroy of Globe, Ariz.; three sisters, Ann Cowart of Denver, Co., Rhonda Earle (Terry) of Greenville and Shirley Fitzhugh Key of Greenville.
Roy chose cremation, there will be a grave side services at a later date at Allens Chapel, Rochester Road, where his mother and father are buried.
