GREENVILLE – Michael Glynn Moore, 74, of Greenville, died Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 9:31 a.m. at his residence. Born September 7, 1949 in Madisonville. He retired from Peabody Coal after working there for 27 years. He was an avid horse, tack, and trailer trader. His love for horses was his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Zelma Moore; four sisters, Hallie, Edith, Gloria, and Jo; and one brother, Kenneth; and mother and father-in-law, Real and Joan Vasquez.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia Lynn Vasquez Moore; daughter, Marcy (Chris) Hancock; step-children, Holly (Nick) Griffin, and Nick (Kristin) Lee; step-grandchildren, Tanner and Tate Griffin, and Sienna Lee; brother, Jewell Moore; sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Rich) O’Connell, Renee (Lee) Duffie, Pamela (Bruce) Calvert, Brenda (David) Otten, Gina (Marc) Stateler, Becky (Mike) Gale, and Tammy (Jeff) Martin.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 7 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Tony Keeling officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
