GREENVILLE- Michael Eugene Phillips, 69, of Greenville died Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation center. Born in Breckenridge County October 12, 1954. He was the owner of Phillips Wrecker Service and a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Drakesboro. Mr. Phillips enjoyed farming, fishing, being outside, he loved his dogs, his church, the smokey mountains, and practical jokes. He was a funny, hardworking man. He was a former Muhlenberg County Deputy Sheriff and Central City Police Officer. Mr. Phillips is preceded in death by his parents, Amiel and Lorean Phillips; brother, Denver Phillips; sisters, Wilma Richerson and Donna Simmons.
Survivors include his daughters, Kelley (Toby Teegarden) Phillips, Kim (Douglas) Blankenship; grandchildren, Rayven McRoy, Rachel Blankenship, Alicen Teegarden, Emey Teegarden; great grandchildren, Cayde, Ryker, Evalynn, Madelyn; brother, George (Jeane) Phillips.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Scott Casebier officiating.
