GREENVILLE – James “Dewey” Grace, 78, of Greenville, died Sunday, April 14, 2024, at 9:42 a.m. at Baptist Health Madisonville Deaconess. Born July 17, 1945, in Perry County, Ky. He was a crane operator for Green River Steel and a member of Greenville Church of Christ and a U.S. Army veteran. He was an avid UK basketball fan. He enjoyed telling his siblings he was the baby of the family, and had a gregarious personality. He loved his wife of 51 years, Dianne, very much and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Grace; parents, Aubrey and Ada Grace; brothers, Tony Grace and Holbert Grace; and sisters, Jeanette Jones, Louella Noffsinger, Mary Ford, and Thelma Toomey.
Survivors include his son, Jason (Anna) Grace of Covington, Ind; grandchildren, Jordan and Mason; sister, Daisy Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Mr. Johnny Kelton officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
