Donald Ray Winn, Sr., 88, of Greenville, died Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Ridgewood Terrace in Madisonville. Born September 17, 1934 in Big Spring, Texas, the son of Owen Winn and Edith Moore Winn. He was an independent truck driver in Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ella Joyce Winn in 2019, and a brother Thomas Winn.
Survivors include a daughter, Lorie Perez of Greenville; a son, Donald Ray Winn, Jr. of Kankakee, Ill.; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Marion Winn of Sanger, Calif. and Ronnie Winn of Okla.; sister, Charlotte Winn of Sisco, Texas.
Graveside services will be Monday, October 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Yeargins Chapel Cemetery in Greenville with Rev. Tom Stovall officiating. Gary’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
