Elsie Agnes Dukes, 75 of Greenville, died Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Heartford House Hospice in Owensboro. Born January, 24, 1945, the daughter of Charlie Dukes and Helen Johnson Dukes. She was a member of the United Methodist Women’s Group. She was a wonderful cook and she loved to work in her garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dwight Dukes in 2006, and four brothers, Oscar Dukes, Charles Dukes, Larry Dukes, and Mike Dukes.
Survivors include daughters, Lori (Kenneth) Thomas of Drakesboro and Elizabeth (Jay) Lindsay of Central City; son, Christopher (Christy) Dukes of Greenville; grandson, Shelby Groves; brother, Howard (Deborah) Dukes of Owensboro and sister, Debra (Bill) Scarbrough of Greenville.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Paul Moore officiating and burial to follow in Emberry Cemetery in Elkton. Visitation will be for family only. All family and friends attending the service will be required to wear a face covering and to observe social distancing.
