BELTON – Gary Neal Stevens, 69, of Belton, died Monday, May 20, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. at his residence. Born February 21, 1955 in Muhlenberg County. He retired as a Coal Miner/Electrician from Amax Coal Company and Aladdin Electric and was of the Baptist faith. He was a die-hard UK fan, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, bowling, being a handyman, bird-watching, was a ginseng and morel enthusiast, and enjoyed going to all his granddaughters’ activities. He was preceded in death by his father, George Stevens; mother, Mary Gladys Stevens; brother, George C. Stevens; and sisters, Mayme Orange, Patsy Edwards, and Theda Deason.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Teresa Gail Kimmel Stevens; son, Mark (Shannon) Stevens; daughter, Sara Stevens; four beautiful granddaughters, Leah, Carly, Mary Beth, Anna Grace; sisters, Nancy (Henry) Latham, Marilyn (Benny) McElwain; Gege to Jenna and Holden; and many loving nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Wright officiating. Burial in Allen’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
