GREENVILLE – Larry Hill, 82, of Greenville, died Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 1:40 p.m. at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Born February 6, 1942, in Duplin County, N.C. He was a welder in the coal mines, and of the Baptist faith. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake Jr. and Flora Hill; sister, Mildred Kellum; and brothers, Bobby Hill and Milton Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn “Carol” Sue McElvain Hill; brothers, Roy Hill and Gene Hill; special nephew, Ricky (Becky) Kellum; several nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law, Teresa Kay McElvain; and brother-in-law, Benny (Dianne) McElvain.
