GREENVILLE – Zelda Mae Travis, 80, of Greenville, died Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 8:20 a.m. at Maple Health and Rehab in Greenville. Born February 9, 1945, in Greenville. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and watching westerns. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Clarine Garrett; siblings, Anna Stanley, Wayne Garrett, Jerry Garrett, and Darrell Garrett; and grandson, Coty Stanley.
Survivors include her children, Shelia (Louis) Colburn, Judy Snyder, Jerry (Donna) Stanley, and Sabrina Whittaker; grandchildren, Cheryl Mae (Carl) Loney, Jessica (Michael) Evans, Brittany (John) Lindquist, Courtney Colburn, Johnathan Stanley, Christopher Whittaker, and Justin Stanley; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Mr. Darrell Puryear officiating. Burial in Jagoe Cemetery.
