SOUTH CARROLLTON – Wilma Jean Stevens, 92, of South Carrollton, crossed the veil to her heavenly home on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born May 3, 1928, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker. She served the Lord with mind, body, and spirit throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kenneth Stevens; parents Rev. Leenus and Stella Brown; sisters Reba Martin and Kay Roark; and brother Wilson Brown.
Survivors include her sons, Terry (Evelyn) Stevens and Mark Stevens, both of South Carrollton; daughter Linda (Wendell) Flener of Central City; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Special thanks to the staff at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital Long Term Care for the excellent care they have provided for the five years she was in their care.
