Willow Mae Jarvis

BREMEN – Willow Mae Jarvis, 86, of Bremen, passed away Monday, January, 27, 2025 in Greenville at 10:23 a.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.

Born in Cleaton to James and Jetta Hoggard on March 15, 1938. She attended Bremen High School. Willow married Waymon Jarvis on June 22,1956 in Bremen. Her life centered around her family. On occasion, she worked outside the home, but her focus was providing strength and keeping the family united. She loved to crochet, read, and later in life she loved Facebook. Her legacy is the strength and faith she taught her daughters and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Waymon, her daughter Lisa Johnson, her grandson Michael Bullock, and her sister Wanda Gray.

Survivors include her two daughters Jeannie Bullock (husband Bill) and Lynn Woodburn (Matt); grandchildren Tabitha Bandy (Shane), Tamara Golden (Monty), Scott Gunn (Chasity), Whitney Gunn, and Nathan Johnson; and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January, 29, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Gary Taylor of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist, officiating. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Online Condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

The family of Willow Jarvis wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Heather Garrett, the staff at Muhlenberg County Owensboro Health, Owensboro Hospice, and extended family and friends.
