DRAKESBORO – William Franklin “Frankie” Groves, 53, of Drakesboro, died Monday, November 29, 2021, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born January 2, 1968, in Muhlenberg County. He was a truck mechanic at Time DC, and a member of Belton Beechmont General Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ursley Groves.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Piper Groves; children Brandon Groves, Chris (Tanya) Groves, Michael (Chelsie) Groves, and Brittanie Nix; 16 grandchildren; brothers Floyd Groves and Windle Groves; and sisters Charlotte Groves, April Travis, and Wanda Travis.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 3, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Bobby Allen officiating. Visitation will be Friday after 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
