BEECHMONT – Wilburn Lee Rose, 91, of Beechmont, died Friday, December 25, 2020 at Greenville Nursing and Rehab. Born September 9, 1929. He was a retired coal miner a member of Beechmont Missionary Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Jean Rose; and son David Lee Rose.
Survivors include his daughters, Karen Grace and JoAnn West; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 28, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. John Galyen officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday after 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to wear a face covering, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
