GREENVILLE – Warren “B” Simpson, 77, of Greenville, passed away at his residence Wednesday, June 26th, 2024. Born January 21st, 1947 in Caneyville, Ky. to the late William David and Lucille Young Simpson. Warren was a timber worker and ran a skidder. He enjoyed his work, spending time with family and attending gospel singings.
Warren was preceded in death by his life partner, Helen Evans, four brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include his step-sons, Evan Evans, Floyd Evans, Earnie Evans and Marvin Evans; a brother, Joe Simpson; and two sisters, Linda Ford and Phyllis Mudd.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Warren Simpson memorial fund. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements.
