Wanda June Murphy, 87, of Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Hospice of Southern KY in Bowling Green. Born April 11, 1935, the daughter of the late Willis Abbott and Hettie Abbott. She was the wife of the late Jack Murphy. Wanda was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for over 25 years.
Survivors include sons, Reggie Murphy of Lewisburg, Gary Murphy of Manitou, and Roger Murphy of Booneville, Ind.; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., in Lewisburg with Bro. Ronnie Forrest and Bro. Tim Nugent officiating. Burial will be follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
