BELTON – Wada Vadean Winn, 93, of Belton, died Friday, October 18, 2024, at 5:20 a.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born February 25, 1931, in Muhlenberg County. She was a bus driver for Muhlenberg County Board of Education, and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards and games, church activities, and working cross word puzzles. She loved cooking, traveling, and camping at Lake Malone. She also enjoyed woodworking with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Sarah Elizabeth Bowley; husband, Henry Winn; sons, Kevin Winn and Jeffrey Winn; and son-in-law, Phillip Wells.
Survivors include her son, Gary Winn of Rosewood; daughters, Phyllis Wells of Belton and Wanda Duvall of Greenville; sister, Rebecca Courtney; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several precious great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial in Rosewood Methodist Cemetery.
