GREENVILLE – Virginia Dale Vincent, 80, of Greenville, died Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Maple Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greenville. Born in Muhlenberg County on December 13, 1943, the daughter of Wilson Edge Moore and Eva Mae Evitts Moore. She was a housewife and a homemaker. She loved camping, fishing, gardening, cooking, and most of all, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful role model whose faith was evident in her daily walk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Johnathan Gray, and a brother and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held Monday, October 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Buck Creek Cemetery in Livermore with Bro. Curtis McGehee officiating. Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, John Daniel Vincent of Greenville; son, Wade (Paula) Vincent of Greenville; daughter, Johnna (Glen) Gray of Utica; three grandchildren, Ethan Vincent, Audrey (Wesley) Ipock, Molly (Lee) Humphrey; six great grandchildren, Paxton Gray, Atley Ipock, Grayson Humphrey, Charlee Humphrey, Jayse Vincent, Hadlee Humphrey; two sisters—–Trenda Due of Shelbyville, Kay (David) Boggess of Lewisburg; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.
