Vickie Lynne Snodgrass, 69, of Greenville, passed peacefully Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Born August 6, 1954 in Owensboro, the daughter of Wallace Wood and Rosa Butler Wood. She retired from ALCOA in Newburgh Ind. in 2021 where she worked as a Lab Tech. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Greenville. She loved to quilt, craft, travel, and spend time with her family; but most importantly spending time with her great-grandchildren. She achieved self-actualization of being a stay-at-home great-grandmother. She was a long time member of the SCA Middle Kingdom, Isabeu of Aurea Ripae.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include one son Ben Snodgrass of Greenville; one daughter Callie (Andy) Bell of Madisonville; five grandchildren Caitlynn Groves, Alora Bleu (Tristan) Yochum, Aiden Greene Snodgrass, Braeden Bell, and Lily Kate Bell; two great grandchildren Cooper Underwood and Blakely Groves; one brother Terry Wood of Murray; three sisters Karen (Chuck) Todd of Georgetown, Linda (Terry) Galyen of Greenville, Amy (Sam) Southard of Beaver Dam, and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, with Bro. Brent Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be Thursday, October 19 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 2:00 p.m.
