DRAKESBORO – Vicki Lynn Buchanan, 70, formerly of Drakesboro, died Monday, September 22, 2025 at her sister’s residence in Crown Point, Ind. Born December 2, 1954 in Greenville. She was a graduate of Reavis High School Burbank Ill. Class of ’74. She was retired from Kroger Foods and was a member of Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist Church. She loved animals and rescuing animals. She liked music, crafting, and cooking. Vicki’s greatest interest and love was for her family and her gift of humor. She was preceded in death by her father, Lyndell Buchanan.
Survivors include her mother, Louise Buchanan; sister, Tammy Bouquet; brother, Brian Buchanan; nieces and nephews, Mark Bouquet, Kyle Bouquet, Jacob (Taylor) Bouquet, Clayton, Bouquet, Cody Bouquet, Alexandria Buchanan, Austin Buchanan; great-nieces and great-nephews, Marissa Bouquet, Ruby Bouquet, Milo Bouquet, Jude Bouquet, Ollie Bouquet, Julian Bouquet, Sophia Bouquet, Jonah Bouquet, Ada Bouquet, and Bryson Bouquet.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Tony Shanks officiating. Burial in Old Jackson Cemetery.
