CENTRAL CITY – Ursley Lucille Groves, 76, of Central City, died Friday, April 2, 2021, at her home. Born January 19, 1945, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Gospel Holiness Light Church in Nortonville. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Floyd Groves.
Survivors include her sons, Floyd Wayne Groves, William Franklin Groves, and Windle Groves; daughters Wanda Travis, Charlotte Groves, and April Travis; 24 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; brother Ricky Lynn Groves and sisters Rebecca Payton, Martha Taylor, and Lavone Jones.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will follow in Lee Hill Cemetery in Depoy. Visitation will be Monday after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to wear a face covering, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
