BREMEN – Troy Douglas Anderson, 50, of Bremen, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 3:35 a.m. at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.  Born October 19, 1974, in Muhlenberg County.  He was of the General Baptist faith.  As a child, Troy was a very talented motocross racer which resulted in a sponsorship from Yamaha.  He also participated and excelled in many sports Bremen had to offer.  Later in life, Troy was a boilermaker, coal miner, logger with his Uncle Terry, and a long-time member of the Bremen Masonic Lodge.  He also enjoyed being an avid outdoorsman, where he spent most of his time in the woods prepping food plots, and scouting hunting and fishing locations.  Troy was also a master innovator, where he was skilled and talented with the ability to fix or rebuild anything.  Troy Douglas also found joy in the kitchen or on the grill cooking for others.

He was preceded in death by his precious son, Traycin Dayne Anderson; parents, Doug and Kay Anderson of Bremen; and grandparents, Rufus Junior and Evyone Rager of Bremen and Earl and Opal Anderson of Central City.
