Trent Wolfe

CENTRAL CITY – On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, Trent Wolfe of Central City, loving father of two, beloved son, and brother was tragically killed in a head-on collision shortly before 12:30 p.m. heading west on KY 425 in Henderson County near Highway 41-A. He was 52 years old. Born August 27, 1970 in Highland Park, Ill. to Ben and Carolyn Wolfe. He will be greatly missed for his deep love of his boys and family, his light-hearted way with people, and love for his Savior Jesus. He was a standout in basketball on his high school team and could shoot the lights out.  After high school, he tried his hand at acting and found success as a server in some of the nicest restaurants in Chicago. His easy-going manner and care for people made it a natural fit. He moved to Central City, in 2015 to be closer to his parents. His love for his family was evident in everything he did as he worked to provide for his boys and assist in care for his father.

Survivors include his sons, Grayson and Boston Wolfe; his brothers, Ted Wolfe of Charlotte, N.C., Todd Wolfe of Central City, and Troy Wolfe of Geneva, N.Y. He was a favored uncle with his many nieces and nephews because he was so much fun.
