GREENVILLE – Tommy Ray Brown, 75, of Greenville, died Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 9:50 p.m. at Heartford House in Owensboro. Born October 25, 1948 in Muhlenberg County, he was a member and a deacon and member of Mercer Missionary Baptist Church and a retired Boilermaker from the Boilermakers Local 40. He was preceded in death by his brother Eddie Brown; and parents Rollie and Joyce Brown.
Survivors include his wife Mattie Garland Brown; children Melissa Brown, and Joseph Brown (Catey Cook); grandchild Melana Ewing; and great-grandchild Cora Whiting.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Mercer Missionary Baptist Church in Central City with Bro. Ron Noffsinger officiating.
