CENTRAL CITY – Tommy Ray Amos, 78, of Central City died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born April 1, 1943 in Muhlenberg County, he was a sample person at Goodyear in Madisonville, a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and a United States Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Janice Amos; brother Jimmy, Jesse and Wayne Amos and parents Bennett and Dolly Majors Amos.
Survivors include his sons Tony Keith Amos and Jerry Ray Amos; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Latham officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors.
