DRAKESBORO – Timothy Ray Groves Sr., 63, died November 9, 2025 at Heartford House in Owensboro. Born in Greenville April 18, 1962, the son of the late Billy Ray Groves and Edith Mae Cobb Groves. He was a truck driver for Clay’s Trucking, and he liked to hunt and fish.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Tom Stovall officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Depoy.
Survivors include three children, Tavia Moseley of Beaver Dam, Maegan Hess of Russellville, T. J. Groves, Jr. of Greenville; two grandchildren; two brothers, Tommy Groves of White Plains and Ray Groves of White Plains; one sister, Jean Stone of Ind.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 14 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home.
