Timothy Lee Rager

Timothy Lee Rager, 62, of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 at The Medical Center. Born March 15, 1961 to Homer and Katherine Rager in Chicago, Ill. Tim was a 1979 graduate of Bremen High School, where he was a talented basketball player and accomplished cross country runner for the Bremen Eagles.  Upon graduating, Tim began a career as a Boilermaker, where he served his trade for over 33 years.  Tim was preceded in death by his parents, the late Homer Lee Rager and Katherine Smith Rager.

Timmy was known for being a jokester.  He was witty and loved to talk.  He had a love for cars and would spend hours cleaning, waxing, and detailing his vehicles.  He enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially basketball and was a loyal fan of the University of Kentucky and the Chicago Bulls.  Each year he couldn’t wait for summer to arrive so he could enjoy warmer weather and a homegrown tomato. In more recent years, Timmy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially playing hide and seek in the back yard.
