GREENVILLE – Timothy “Evan” Carver, Sr., 64, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at his residence. Born October 21, 1960 to the late Doyle Bennett Carver and Deweese Latham Carver, of Rosewood. Evan worked as a Unit Operator for TVA for over 20 years before retiring. Then he became the Apartment Manager for Manolo Properties in Greenville, where he always had a witty remark and a helping hand. He was preceded in death by both parents, and his younger brother, Odis Quentin Carver.
Survivors include his children, Reba Carver-Travis (Nathan Travis), Michael Carver, Beth Atwell, and Timothy Carver, Jr. (Kelly); eight grandchildren and had an extended family that included Cameron, Marla, and Marlee Laycock, Ron Agee, and Heather Jones.
Visitation will be Monday, April 28, 2025 from 10 s.m.-12 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
