BEECH CREEK- Thelma Fay English, 81, of Beech Creek died Friday, December 29, 2023 at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born January 21, 1942 in Muhlenberg County, she worked in housekeeping for Maple Manor. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. English loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She spent a lot of her time in her garden and flower bed. Ms. English was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Ethel Camplin; brothers Boston Camplin, Johnny Camplin, Truman Camplin.Â
Survivors include her daughter Shelia Mefford of Beech Creek; sons Roger (Brenda) English of Beech Creek, Kenneth English of Beech Creek; sister, Linda (Herb) Jackson; grandkids Kaitlyn, Kim, Chrissy, Jason, Daniel, Amy; several great grandkids; many nieces and nephews.Â
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Danny Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
