GREENVILLE – Terry Wayne Shanks, 69, of Greenville, died Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 5:45 a.m. at Greenville Nursing and Rehab. Born February 12, 1954, in Muhlenberg County, he was preceded in death by his fathers, Jackie Shanks and Tommy Hendrix; and mother, Edna Hendrix.
Survivors include his children, Michael Shanks, Tommy Shanks, and John Shanks; brothers, Gary Shanks, Ronnie Hendrix, and Larry Hendrix; and sister, Cathy Piper.
Graveside funeral services will be Friday, April 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Memorials Gardens, with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
