CENTRAL CITY – Terry Lynn Scott, 70, of Central City, died Thursday, May 20, 2021, at his home. Born February 21, 1951, in Muhlenberg County. He was a construction worker, a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, William Scott.
Survivors include his daughter, Alicia Brooks of Henderson; sister Marsha Bullock of Central City; mother Anthony Smith Scott of Central City; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 24, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Gary Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday after 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Capacity and mask guidelines will comply with current state health and public safety directives.
