CIFTY – Stephen Dewayne Settle of Clifty, passed away Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green. Born on October 10, 1956 in Greenville , the son of the late Charles Lee Settle and Lady Mae Skipworth Settle. He was a member of the Baptist faith and worked for the Todd County Road Department. He was a logger and a farmer all his life. He loved fishing, hunting, and going to church.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, with Bro. Jerry Sweeney officiating, assisted by Jonathan Skipworth. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Schoolhouse Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Brenda Settle of Clifty; mother, Lady Mae Skipworth Settle of Morgantown; two daughters , Kelly Ann Cunningham of Clifty and Kimberly Settle Johnson of Elkton; three grandsons; two great granddaughters; two brothers , Kevin Settle and Bruce Settle; one sister, Shelia Chambliss; several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
