GREENVILLE – Shirley Jean Dunlap, 73, of Dawson Springs, died Monday, January 27, 2025 at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville. Born in Muhlenberg County September 3, 1951, the daughter of Lee Bryant Groves and Imogene Reeves Groves. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Forrest Dunlap.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, conducted by Bro. Tom Stovall. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains.
Survivors include her two daughters, Jeani Morgan of Dawson Springs and Shelly Dunlap of Madisonville; son, Bryan Dunlap of White Plains; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 31 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
