Sherry Lynne Summers Atcher

GREENVILLE – Sherry Lynne Summers Atcher, 64, of Greenville passed away Sunday, November 23rd, 2025 at Heartford House in Owensboro.
Born November 25, 1960 in Muhlenberg County. Sherry was a graduate of Greenville High School and Western Kentucky University where she received her bachelor’s, master’s and rank 1 degrees. She was an active member of Mt Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church.
To know her was to love her. She had a beautiful smile and was always thinking of others, even during her own bouts with illness.
She was a dedicated wife and loving mother to three wonderful children.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles(Charlie) and Wanda Summers.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Barry Atcher of Greenville, two sons, Stetson (Kari Beth) Atcher of Bremen, Landon (Jayme) Atcher of Central City, one daughter, Morgan (Tyler) Brown of Bowling Green; grand children Avery Atcher, Blakely Atcher, Carter Atcher, Madilynn Atcher, Tate Brown and another Brown on the way; sister Tammy (Clarence) Brewer and nieces and nephews Logan Brewer, Paige Brewer, Patrick Atcher, Ben Atcher along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.


A graveside service will be held Saturday November 29, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in Bremen with Brother Adam Brown Officiating.
The family invites everyone for a meal after the service in the fellowship hall. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Gideons International or any charity of your choice.
