EVANSVILLE, INDIANA – Sheila Ann Hess, 77, of Evansville, died Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 1:01 p.m. at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Ind. Born August 12, 1947 in Muhlenberg County. She worked as a manager for various restaurants, and enjoyed playing with flowers, singing, cooking, and spending time with her granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Virginia Edwards; son, Troy Hess; and brothers, Jerry Edwards and Steven Edwards.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Hess; grandchildren, Torie Hess, and Kenady Hess; sister, Denny Childers, and brother, Eric Edwards.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with David Anderson officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
