GREENVILLE – Sharon Sue Edwards, 77, of Greenville, died Monday, June 30, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Born in Rolla, Mo. March 29, 1948, the daughter of John and Alma Leonard. She was a member of Greenville First Baptist Church and was a nurse. After retiring from Muhlenberg Community Hospital, she taught CNA classes for Russellville Vocational School.
She was preceded in death by her parents and, her second husband Norris Grace.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Edwards of Greenville; son, Scott Mugford of Greenville; daughter, Lisa (Gary) Dennison of Powderly.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, conducted by Dr. John Galyen. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home.
