GREENVILLE – Sharon Gail McKinney, 80, of Greenville, died Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 4:27 p.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born November 9, 1943, in Muhlenberg County. She loved going to church. She was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church for many years. She was a homemaker, and was a Headstart teacher while living in Erin, Tenn. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby McKinney; parents, James and Lillian Harper; brothers, Terry Harper and Bud Harper; and sister, Sandy Bartlett.
Survivors include her daughter, Ali McKinney of Greenville; sons, Isiah McKinney of Greenville and Wayne McKinney of Indian Mound, Tenn.; brothers, Tony (Charlene) Harper of Central City, Jerry (Glenda) Harper of In.; sister, Judy (Brandon) Ford of Drakesboro; grandchildren, Caleb McKinney and Kyle McKinney; great-grandchildren, Isaiah McKinney, Elizabeth McKinney, Aliza McKinney, and Riley McKinney; and great-great-grandchild, Olivia Vick.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Ryan Miller officiating. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery.
