GREENVILLE – To know her was to love her.
Sandra McGehee Jennings, a woman filled with joy and love, was born April 17, 1955. Sandy grew up on Kennedy Road raised by Arthur and Annie McGehee. Here, cousins were like brothers and sisters, and she passed peacefully there in her home-place on November 25, 2025.
She was surrounded by all the things she loved the most, music, family, friends and love. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her greatest treasures and she was treasured by all, especially her devoted husband Keith Jennings. Heaven truly gained an amazing woman, teacher and soul. What an honor it is to have been in your presence, we love you big forever and always.
Sandy was a retired school teacher for the Muhlenberg County Board of Education, and she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Bremen. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Strong.
Survivors include her husband, Keith Jennings; children, Jennifer Dawn Bowles, Tim (Emm Rodigues) Ellis, and Jason Jennings; grandchildren, Jacob (Vanessa) Bowles, Julli (Dakota) Haley, Kayla Ellis, Chase Ellis, and Victor Davi Rodigues-Ellis,; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Haley, Walker Haley, and soon to arrive Jase Tyler Bowles; father, Bill McGehee; brothers, Roger (Debbie) McGehee, Jeff (Kim) McGehee, and Keith Jasinski (Sandy Heeder); and sisters, Tammy (Dean) Dodge and Cheryl (Tim) Allen.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 28, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. George Gray officiating, assisted by Bro. Curtis McGehee.
