MADISONVILLE – Ruth C. Lile, 83, of Madisonville, died Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 6:10 a.m. at her residence. Born July 1, 1942 in Winston Salem, N.C. She was a Homemaker and a member of Green River Chapel Baptist Church. She loved playing golf and playing cards with her friends. She loved taking care of her family and helping in her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lile; mother, Jeanette Baldwin; father, Edwin Wimbish; brothers, Curtis Wimbish, Ronald Wimbish, and Michael Wimbish; and sister, Veronica Wimbish Granville.
Survivors include her sons, Tony (Leslie) Lile and Rusty Lile; sister, Patricia Howell; grandchildren, T.J. Lile, Johnathan (Emily) Lile, Nick Lile, and Jaymee Capps; and great-grandchildren, Tristan, Axel, Zander, Karlee, and Zayden.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Jewel Martin officiating, assisted by Bro. Brian McElwain and Bro. Larry Shadowen.
