GREENVILLE — Roy Lee Mallory, 77, of Greenville KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026. He was born in Greenville, KY on October 12th, 1948, the son of Paul David Mallory and Mattie Lauretter Owens Mallory. He was a retired UMWA coal miner. He was member of Central City Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judy Evelyn Mallory; a son, Marty Mallory; three sisters, Barbara Jean Mallory, Mattie Lou Mallory, and Sandra Dean Fleming; and one brother, Norman Ray Mallory.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 18th, at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY conducted by Mr. Bob Edlin. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Powderly, KY.
He is survived by his daughter—Crystal (David) Morphew;
daughter-in-law— Donita Mallory;
two grandsons — Nathan (Aimee) Dukes and Scott Cissna;
two great grandchildren — Houston Dukes and Waylon Dukes;
two great nieces — Addyson Fleming and Allyson Fleming;
sister — Linda (Paul) Douglas;
brother — Paul Glen Mallory;
Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 18th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, time of funeral, at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
